What does real-world academic innovation look like in today’s colleges and universities?

Abstract: The Future Trends Forum is a weekly discussion event created and hosted by Bryan Alexander. Since 2016 he has addressed the most powerful forces of change in academia. The Forum brings practitioners in the field to share their most recent work and experience in education and technology. The intent of the Forum: to advance the discussion around the pressing issues at the crossroads of education and technology.

 

This session assembled a brilliant panel of experienced academics, each with a story to tell. They include:

  • Kate Miffitt, Assistant Director of Innovation at California State University’s Office of the Chancellor.
  • Matthew Rascoff, Associate Vice Provost for Digital Education and Innovation at Duke University.
  • Mike Goudzwaard, Associate Director of Learning Innovation, Dartmouth College.
  • Ari Bader-Natal, Chief Technology Officer for Calbright College, a newly-launched California Community College.
