Isaac Reber, MSRC, RRT-ACCS
Assistant Professor of Respiratory Therapy/Director of Clinical Education

Isaac Reber is an experienced respiratory therapist and educator with over a decade of clinical and teaching experience. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Respiratory Therapy program at Utah Tech University, where he is passionate about preparing future respiratory care professionals for successful and meaningful careers in healthcare.

Isaac began his career in respiratory therapy in 2013 and has since held various roles, including respiratory department manager, clinical educator, and service line content expert. His clinical experience spans adult and pediatric care, with a focus on critical care, advanced ventilator management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He also holds the Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care.

In addition to his clinical work, Isaac has developed onboarding programs, led department-specific skills training, and created continuing education opportunities for respiratory therapy teams. He is particularly passionate about integrating evidence-based practice with real-world clinical application, and he emphasizes critical thinking, communication, and teamwork in his teaching.

Isaac earned his Master of Respiratory Care from Boise State University and is an active member of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) and the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

When he’s not teaching or working at the bedside, Isaac enjoys spending time with his family, staying active outdoors, and continually learning new ways to improve patient care and respiratory therapy education.
